MOODBOARD

For my moodboard I decided to focus on my inspiration being from artisitc and unique magazines that I like, as well as looking at the type of people and the environments people have their coffee or read magazines in. Also I have explored certain colour schemes and design choices, for example overlapping images and types of angles like aerial shots. I felt that these types of inspiration helped me lay a very solid foundation for my future ideas and designs.

STRATEGY

My plan for my coffee and magazine mobile truck business is centered around providing a unique and convenient experience for customers, aged between 16-50, seeking a combination of quality coffee and unique and artistic magazines. The magazine aspect of the business will focus on carefully selecting a variety of publications spanning different genres and interests, ensuring there is something for everyone. However its main aim is to apeal to the creatives in the world but aslso show non creatives how interesting and fun it can be. I plan to establish strategic partnerships with local coffee roasters and magazine distributors to maintain a fresh and ever-evolving inventory. By carefully selecting prime locations and leveraging social media and online platforms, I aim to create a strong brand presence and build a loyal customer base. Through an inviting atmosphere within the mobile truck, I seek to provide a welcoming environment for customers to relax, indulge in a great cup of coffee, and discover captivating stories within the pages of their favorite magazines.

SCOPE

The scope of my coffee and magazine mobile truck business is to reach a wide range of customers in various locations and events, offering them a unique and enjoyable experience. By operating as a mobile truck, I have the flexibility to explore different neighborhoods, business districts, parks, festivals, and other popular gathering spots. This mobility allows me to tap into different customer demographics, expanding my reach and maximizing potential sales opportunities. Additionally, I plan to collaborate with local magazines, community organizations, and event organizers to set up pop-up locations. I will need to do this by seting up a booking section on my website. Therefore adding the possibility of partnering with corporate clients to provide on-site coffee and magazine services for their employees, conferences, or special events. I will also add features to the site such as telling us about magazines we may not own so that we can hopefully import them in and have a more fine tuned set of customers. I will also add a feature to be able to order your coffee through our website

LOGO
PROGRESSION

My initial idea for a logo consisted of a bright pink colour in order to incorporate the typical bright colours of a magazine. However i decided to start going down a more coffee cooured logo as at this point i was refining my brand colours. I settled on a logo similar tothe first one but with a coffee bean. I quickly realised somethign was missing and came up with the idea of adding a straw design to the logo. But then i realised this straw isnt going into anything. So for the final logo design I incorprated a puddle of coffee below it

TRUCK
BRANDING

For my truck branding I first added a pattern on the truck and changed the wheel rim colour to match my brand identity. I added my logo on the bar at the top but also the words itself to make sure its fully legible. Also i added my menu to the side of the truck, and finally added the 2 notice messages to teh side of th truck in the empty space.

OTHER
MOCKUPS

Below are some other mockups included in the final submission.
